D.C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty
Welcome to the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board's website. During 2007, the D.C. Lottery is celebrating 25 years of being our city’s “Best Bet.”
Since its inception, the D.C. Lottery has contributed nearly $1.5 billion dollars to the general fund of the District of Columbia. Revenue generated through the D.C. Lottery supports city services such as education and public safety. The Charitable Gaming Department has helped community organizations raise more than $93 million over the last 25 years, extending the social safety net for those in need in our area.
If you choose to play Lottery games, please remember to play responsibly. Enjoy your visit. And remember, you have to play to win!
