Annual Report - 2001
Fiscal Year 2001 was a winning year for Washingtonians. The D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board transferred $84 million to the General Fund of the District of Columbia. The near record transfer was made possible by $224.8 million in gaming revenue that generated $11.6 million in commissions for Lottery agents. This major contribution by the D.C. Lottery, in its 19th year of operation, helped the Nation’s Capital maintain its economic vitality, while enabling our city to prepare for the future.

Annual Report - 2002
"Match 3," the D.C. Lottery’s first game, went on sale August 25, 1982. The Instant "scratch" ticket was an immediate hit with one month of sales totaling $15.8 million. Now, 20 years later, the Lottery has transferred more than $1.1 billion to the District of Columbia’s General Fund and assisted nonprofit organizations in raising more than $80 million for charitable causes.

Fiscal Year 2003, October 1, 2002 – September 30, 2003, was a recordbreaking year for the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board. We set a milestone as sales reached a new high of $237.2 million. We also transferred $72.0 million to the District of Columbia’s General Fund, exceeding the budgeted transfer by $3.4 million.

For the second consecutive fiscal year, the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board achieved record sales. We ended 2004 with $241.3 million in revenue and transferred $73.5 million to the District of Columbia's General Fund.

Annual Report - 2005
The D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board is pleased to present its annual report for fiscal year 2005, October 1, 2004 – September 30, 2005. In 2005, the agency made invaluable contributions to the District of Columbia by transferring $71.4 million to the city’s General Fund and helping non-profit organizations raise $4.6 million through charitable gaming.

Annual Report - 2006
The D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board is pleased to present its fiscal year 2006 annual report, which covers October 1, 2005 – September 30, 2006. In FY ’06, the agency ended the year with record sales of $266.2 million and players winning $146.6 million – the highest amount ever won by D.C. Lottery players since ticket sales began in August of 1982. The D.C. Lottery also transferred $73.8 million to the city’s General Fund and licensed almost 150 non-profit organizations to hold charitable gaming events in which they collectively raised $4.8 million during the fiscal year to support programs and services for those in need.
