Tips for managing your D.C. Powerball Pool

Here are some tips from seasoned pros on how to successfully manage your D.C. Powerball Pool. These guidelines are provided to help make this effort fun and exciting.

  • Know what kind of group you want to have.

    •  Do you want to have a small group or large group? Can your D.C. Pool Players contribute a $1 or $2 or a higher minimum, say $10?

  • How often do you want to play?

    • Determine if you want to play twice a week? Once a week? Every week?

  • Keep Your Pool Informed and Participating.

    • Provide the personal touch. – while our website contains all the tools you need to electronically manage your pool, it is always a good idea to communicate to the group when it's D.C. Powerball Pool Playing time!
    • Give your D.C. Powerball Pool a name and logo/mascot – rally around your team!
    • Develop a routine – make sure the Pool Players know what the schedule is for playing PowerBall.

     

  • Stay Organized – Our comprehensive online tool will help keep any D.C. Powerball Pool Manager organized and ahead of the game!

    • Keep track of the Pool’s Powerball numbers and tickets by collecting them online and comparing winning numbers to purchased tickets.
    • Make sure your Pool Players join the INCROWD so they can review the winning updates and track Pool performance, including their distribution of the winnings.
    • Avoid accepting “I.O.U.’s”. While this may be an innocent tactic used by a few players to reap the benefits of being “in” the Pool, without actually contributing to the Pool right away – it is sure to ultimately become a headache for the D.C. Powerball Player who is managing the Pool and the contributions.
