HOW AND WHERE DO I CLAIM MY PRIZE?

It's easy to collect your prize. The information below explains where you can claim different prize levels.

Amount Redeemable at:

up to $599.50

$600 or more

• D.C. Lottery Claim Center

Agents may, and are encouraged to, redeem prizes up to $599.50. Prizes of $600 or more must be redeemed at the D.C. Lottery Claim Center or by mail.  For prizes claimed at the D.C. Lottery claim center winners will need to present two forms of identification, primary and secondary. A primary I.D. consists of a driver’s license, military I.D. or other government issued photographic I.D. A secondary I.D. consists of a social security card, major credit card, work I.D., insurance card, or government issued photographic I.D. Claimant must present proof of social security number before claim can be processed. The D.C. Lottery claim center distributes prize amounts in the form of checks only.

Winners claiming a prize of $5,000 or more are required to have their photograph taken in order to complete the claim process and receive their Lottery prize.

Mailing Instructions:
If you claim a prize of any amount by postal mail, please sign and mail the winning ticket along with a copy of your driver's license, military I.D. or other government issued photographic identification and social security card or taxpayer identification card to the D.C. Lottery Claim Center:
