Washington, DC – After 25 drawings with no jackpot winner since December 26, 2018, the windfall for tonight’s Powerball game has ballooned to an estimated $750,000,000! The cash option on the prize is an estimated $465.5 million. This is the fourth-highest jackpot in U.S. lottery history and the third-highest for the Powerball game.

“We celebrate prizes of all sizes at the DC Lottery,” says Executive Director Beth Bresnahan. “For the game played on March 23, DC Lottery players collectively won close to $33,000. We would love to celebrate the next jackpot winner in DC.” DC Lottery players have even more reasons to take a chance on winning this evening’s jackpot thanks to a promotion that is offered “Only in DC.” For a limited time, DC Lottery players who purchase $10 or more on a single Powerball ticket will receive a free $1 DC2 quick pick ticket. Powerball is a $2 multi-state game drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a starting jackpot of $40 million which grows with each drawing that the top prize is not won.

Introduced in 2018, DC2 is a two-digit game played twice daily with starting wagers of just $.50. The top prize for DC2 is $50.

These games can be purchased at any of the DC Lottery’s agent retailer locations throughout the District. Powerball tickets for tomorrow’s game must be purchased by 9:45 p.m. The drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. ET in Tallahassee, Florida. For more information visit dclottery.com.
