The Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG) is the regulatory body over privately-operated sports wagering in the District of Columbia, licensing and monitoring these operations and their gaming-related suppliers for compliance with applicable District and federal laws and regulations.

Games of Skill

On November 2, 2020, the D.C. Council issued Act 23-479 ("the Act") which legalized Games of Skill in the District of Columbia and designated the Office of Lottery and Gaming ("OLG") as the regulator of Game of Skill Machines.

In accordance with the Act, each Retailer, Distributor or Manufacturer must obtain a license from the OLG to sell, lease, or operate Games of Skill Machines in the District.
